What other water sports do you do and how long?

Windsurfing since I was 7, kitesurfing since I was 14, Stand Up Paddling since I was 15, surfing since I was 13, foiling since 2018 and winging since 2020.

What do you like about wing foiling?

The feeling of it is just amazing! And there are soo many possibilities!

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

I was already into foil surfing and downwind, and some friends came to my town to wing and invited me to do a downwind with them! I’ve learned along the way of that downwind hahah world class rider Fernando Mizo was among this friends and gave me many helpful tips!

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

My foil prone board 5’0 by JP-Austalia, Cabrinha Mantis 4.0 and Neilpryde Glide HP 11, with 85 mast.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

My next one ;)

What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?

Testing, small improvements over time and probably some revolutionary ideas along the way.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Start as soon as possible! It’s so much fun! And it helps to have good control of the foil before jumping on the wing.

What is your biggest water sport achievement?

Winning the 2019 ISA SUP Race World Championship.
