What other water sports do you do and how long?

Surfing but only properly for 6 years or so!

What do you like about wing foiling?

The challenge! It ain’t easy but the feeling of flying is so cool.

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

I’m still learning!! It’s only been a few months so far but I’m up on the foil, just need to start to learn to gybe and tack.

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

My current setup.. It’s all I have! The wing is a Cabrinha Crosswing 4m. I use a Gong Allvator Foil, XXL, 1275sq cm, on a 65cm mast. The board is a 6’8” JP Australia SUP foil board.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

The first time I got up on the foil on a beautiful sunny day at Marazion, with St Michael’s Mount as a backdrop.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Just go for it! It’s a steep learning curve, but if I can do it, anyone can!

What is your biggest water sport achievement?

Getting up on the foil with a wing having never done any wind sports before!
