I’m Martina, I’m 37 and I live near Lake Garda, in Veneto, Italy. I have always tried and practiced various board sport, like snowboard, longboard, wakeboard and SUP, but since last year I’ve been in love with Wingfoil, that I usually practice on Lake Garda or on Mediterranean Sea.

What other water sports do you do and how long?
SUP since 2009, snowboarding since 2005 and cable wakeboard since 2014.
What do you like about wing foiling?
The freedom to do all what you can do in other water sports separately.
How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?
I learned independently, trying a lot of times and looking at the other better wingfoilers. In less than 2 months I could fly!
What is your favorite gear combination and why?
I have a custom board and I chose the graphics for it
What was your favorite wing surfing session?
Last November in Sottomarina (near Venezia, Italy).
What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?
The possibility to try wingfoil independently and practice it everywhere.
What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?
Enjoy yourselves! But always put on your helmet!
What is your biggest water sport achievement?
3rd place in Italian Cup 2015 in Cable Wakeboard.
