What other water sports do you do and how long?

What do you like about wing foiling?

The freedom of flying on the foil and the wide range of possibilities this sport offers. For example, in jumps.

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

I learned it together with my dad two years ago, as our whole family consists of water sports addicts. One day we went for a walk and saw 3 people winging in our little home town bay, we borrowed some equipment from my dads friend and were instantly hooked.

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

For freestyle definitely the Slingshot DART together with a small board and the Infinity 76 or the Phanstasm 926 foil!

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

I couldn’t do 360s for a long time. Then one session at Silver Sands,Barbados; I finally got it, was super hyped and couldn’t stop doing them!!

What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?

I guess materials will improve, so less heavy gear and more lightweight stuff. I also hope that the foils pop will improve!

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Even if it is scary to start in wingfoiling, just step on the board and put your fears aside.

What is your biggest water sport achievement?

None yet but hopefully in the future.
