What other water sports do you do and how long?

Started with windsurfing on a young age, moved to kitesurfing and added surf, surffoil and wingsurf during the years!

What do you like about wing foiling?

The freedom of movement compare to other wind drivin sports. And it such an insane combo for foilsurfing in strong winds, endless rides and back up wind in no time!!

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

On the Mauritian lagoon during a Fone dealer trip with the big board and foil we could ride directly!!

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

Fone Rocket surf 4’2 board with Fone Phantom de 1080 foil + 75cm carbon mast and Fone Swing 3,5m.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

Mid tide with long mushburger rollers on the outer sandbanks at Ouddorp -> these sessions feel like the waves will continue for ever.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Just put your time in to learn and get gear from a decent brand!

What is your biggest water sport achievement?

To be out in the water everyday!
