What other water sports do you do and how long?

Waszp Foiling, Wing Foiling, Sailing

What do you like about wing foiling?

Freedom of foiling. Very universal and easy to pull out the gear. It’s a great sport.

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

Longer than it should have. Probably about 8 hours in the water. Best thing I did was start on a bigger board.

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

ENSIS, MOSES, AMOS - perfect combination of stiffness. Wouldn’t look elsewhere.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

2-hour downwinder from Port Melbourne to Aspendale, strong tailwind, plenty of awesome waves.

What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?

Double skin wings for racing.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Time on the board, visualise the manoeuvres on land. Can never practice enough. It’s sucks but it will pay off.

What is your biggest water sport achievement?

3 x Top 3 finisher in Aus Waszp.
