What other water sports do you do and how long?
Kitesurfing for 12 years, and Surf foil for 2 years.
What do you like about wing foiling?
The freedom and endless possibilities which is not possible with any other watersport.
How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?
Learnt in my Home spot in the Exmouth, UK in relatively flat water and between 10 and 15 knots was hard at the start to get used to the wing so took around 5 sessions to get to a good level of comfortable riding.
What is your favorite gear combination and why?
Ensis wing 4.5, Tarifa foil boards wing board 4'4, levitaz aspect 2.0
What was your favorite wing surfing session?
Wing foil session late December 2019, in New Caledonia with Titouan Galea and Clement Colmas, the swell was 2m plus and super powerful, so riding this insane left hand break was a pretty crazy experience.
What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?
I think wing foils will improve a lot more in the future.
What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?
Use a big enough board for balance and first of all go out in around 10-20 knots on the flattest water possible.
What is your biggest water sport achievement?
European Champion in Kitesurfing in 2018
