Surf - my whole life Foil surf - about 4 months Sail - casually my whole life

What do you like about wing foiling?

The glide. Nothing like it on earth.

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

Learned largely by myself, took a solid month to get proficient.

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

Takoon comet 6ft with Fanatic aero High aspect foil - perfect balance of stability and speed. But I also love the comet with the Ride Engine Manta 99 - easy to get up and ride, perfect for learning.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

September hurricane swell wing surfing session in Sandy Hook, New Jersey.

What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?

The foil designs tailored for specific conditions and the wing's designs with greater wind windows.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Get out there and do it it’s really fun!

What is your biggest water sport achievement?

I once towed into a 1m wave... It was not that impressive, but it was fun.
