What other water sports do you do and how long?

Kitesurfing (mostly foiling and strapless waves surfing), surfing, snowboarding and trekking when no wind.

What do you like about wing foiling?

Being able to surf non stop without any kite or sail that you need to think about!!! Coming from Kitesurfing winging gives you a lot more spots where to play!

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

I learned here in Tarifa, strong off-shore levante wind, was tricky at first but the feeling was nice!!! I keep learning and improving every time I sail ;)

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

My hand made "Kitchenfoilstarifa" 5'0 wingboard and a medium aspect foil 1300cm2 with small stabiliser. Riding an amazing Ozone wasp 4m most of the time.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

Riding waves down wind in Bolonia (south of Spain) in front of the huge sand dune and all the Romans ruins on the beach!!!

What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?

Wind range of wings will be for sure more efficient in light wind in yeas to come.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Don't under estimate liters on your first board if you don't come from funboard or small sups!
