What other water sports do you do and how long?
Sailing, surfing, kiting and every watersport tool which I get into my hand.
What do you like about wing foiling?
It's easy to learn and suits for the most conditions where other watersports does not make so much fun.
How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?
I come from kitefoiling and it took me not long to foil. It was in the first session. Now, I improve my maneuvers every session and it's a fast learning.
What is your favorite gear combination and why?
A Ozone wasp 4qm and a Moses w1100 because its super easy to foil and almost suitable for every condition. Looking forward to my MB board with 58l and maybe a bit smaller front wing on the Moses foil for some airtime.
What was your favorite wing surfing session?
Cruising some ferry waves in Kiel but looking forward to every new session! In the beginning its so much fun to learn new maneuver.
What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?
Foiling is improving day by day and get more and more efficient.
What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?
Get a big board for an easy start and a big foil for slow foiling. After that you will see pretty fast what kind of winging do you prefer. There is a big variety of combinations and possibilities.
What is your biggest water sport achievement?
I won an medal at the 49er world championship 2018 and 2020 I won the European championship in the 49er.
