What other water sports do you do and how long?

Over the last couple of years I got into: surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, (wing/surf)foiling. Lately mostly (only) surfing and foiling. Oh and during the winter I also like to surf frozen water (snowboarding) ;)

What do you like about wing foiling?

That it's so new and improving so quickly! For now, I like waveriding combining with big jumps on the wave the most.

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

Having some experience in kitefoiling I could foil leftside rightside in my first session.

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

Wing: Slingshot Dart 4m, Board: Ride engine escape pod 4'4, and Foil: Slingshot Infinity 76 wing.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

8 bft side-shore wind with big mushy rollers on the outer banks of my homespot. On the big lake or out on the sea. Depending on the wind direction.

What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?

You can see that there are already specific wings and foils starting to get into the market. I think every disciplines is getting specific gear and that all of them are going to improve a lot! This is only the beginning.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Don't start to small. Make sure to have a big board and get all of the basics steady! You're gonna progress real quick if you go out as much as possible.

What is your biggest water sport achievement?

Trying to go out as much as possible and keep pushing my own limits in different disciplines!
