What other water sports do you do and how long?
Windsurfing for over 10 years, sometimes SUP and tow foiling but not a pro and scuba diving.
What do you like about wing foiling?
The gear is light and easy to set up. Like the feeling of flying and you don’t need much hand power.
What is your favorite gear combination and why?
4.2m wing is controllable and gives me enough power in most of the wind range. 44L board and 1300 front wing of the foil. Small board is easier to make turns and feel lighter. 1300 gives me stable lift up force, easy to get on foil and able to go fast.
What was your favorite wing surfing session?
Wing surf to the island side of Hong Kong. Takes around 5 hours but was fun when going downwind and surfing with waves.
What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?
Try bigger board, like over 100L. Better start at a place with flat water. Be patient and don’t give up after lots of swimming! It’s normal to fall into water for thousand times. Keep trying and you will know how much fun it is!

4th in World Cup series- Gamagori
