What other water sports do you do and how long?
SUP and windsurfing.
What do you like about wing foiling?
Simple freedom! The broad range of wind strengths that you can utilise the same wing in; would have been through at least 3 sail sizes for the same wind range on a windsurfer. So much easier than launching a kite!
How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?
I was struggling to windsurf foil and was given a Wing to try. It was soo much simpler to get up and flying. First flights were in my first day, and I haven't touch a windsurfer ever since!
What is your favorite gear combination and why?
Still discovering this, constantly trying new setup combinations.
What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?
Costs need to come down.
What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?
Don't procrastinate, just get out and fly!
What is your biggest water sport achievement?
2nd place in Freestyle Windsurfing World Championships 1987
