What other water sports do you do and how long?

Stand up paddling, sup foiling, surfing and wing foiling.

What do you like about wing foiling?

The freedom and playful feeling it gives you.

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

Flying took me one long afternoon session. But getting the tacks, jibes and such took me a few more sessions.

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

For now, Fanatic sky wing 5' with 1250/250 on a long mast and a Duotone echo for a wing. Best combination that i found for SPEED-STABILITY and just a lot of fun.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

High wind and big swell sessions at wijk aan zee with lots of buddy's to share the stoke!

What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?

I think Wing profile stability is a big thing and the Duotone Echo's with booms are definitely a step in the right direction.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Make sure to have Big board, big low aspect foil and enough power but not over powered. And offcourse a big smile.

What is your biggest water sport achievement?

Multiple times Belgian Champion in SUP.
