What other water sports do you do and how long?

Windfoiling since 2020, surfing since 2019, windsurfing since 2010 and wakefoiling since 2019.

What do you like about wing foiling?

The freedom of the sport.

How did you learn and how long did it take you to wing foil?

It took me a few hours after I could wing around and jive.

What is your favorite gear combination and why?

My favorite gear combination now is the 75l 5'4 f-one rocket wing with the 5m f-one swing and for the foil I like the 75 cm alu mast with the 1280 cm*2 phantom foil. With this gear I can have epic wing sessions from 8- 30 knots.

What was your favorite wing surfing session?

My favorite wing session was in Ijmuiden, Netherlands. I went out in big swell from the last few windy days and the wind wasn't that strong anymore. So I had clean waves of 2-3 meters with wind of 10-12 knots. The waves that day where long and amazing rides.

What do you want or believe will significantly improve the wing foiling gear?

I believe that the wings and the foils can be improved. Easier, faster an more efficient.

What tips or recommendations do you have for anyone who wants to start?

Get your hands on a set and go out there!
